Asociados para la misión lasaliana…un acto de esperanza

Abstract

Salieron, pues, de allí y se embarcaron, pero esa noche no pescaron nada. Al despuntar el alba Jesús se hizo presente en la orilla; pero los discípulos no se dieron cuenta de que era Jesús. Muchachos, ¿no tienen algo de comer? -les preguntó Jesús. No - respondieron ellos. Echen la red a la derecha de la barca, y encontrarán. Así lo hicieron, y era tal la cantidad de peces que ya no podían sacar la red. (Jn 21:3-6) Esta realidad (la asociación) existe desde el origen del Instituto de los Hermanos de las Escuelas Cristianas, pero desde hace cuarenta años tiende a desarrollarse de una manera inédita. El acontecimiento fundacional que une al Instituto de hoy con sus orígenes es aquel del 6 de junio de 1694 cuando San Juan Bautista de La Salle y doce de sus compañeros se asociaron para consagrar su vida a la educación cristiana de los niños pobres. Simon-Pierre leur dit : «Je m'en vais à la pêche.» Ils lui répondent : « Nous allons avec toi.» Ils partirent et montèrent dans la barque ; or, ils passèrent la nuit sans rien prendre. Au lever du jour, Jésus était là, sur le rivage, mais les disciples ne savaient pas que c'était lui. Jésus les appelle : «Les enfants, auriez-vous un peu de poisson ?» Ils lui répondent : «Non. » Il leur dit : «Jetez le filet à droite de la barque, et vous trouverez.» Ils jetèrent donc le filet, et cette fois ils n'arrivaient pas à le ramener, tellement il y avait de poisson. (Jn 21, 3-6) [L’Association] existe depuis l’origine de l’Institut des Frères des Écoles Chrétiennes mais depuis quarante ans elle tend à se déployer d’une façon inédite. L’événement fondateur qui relie l’Institut d’aujourd’hui à ses origines est celui du 6 juin 1694 où Jean-Baptiste de La Salle et douze de ses compagnons s’associaient pour consacrer leur vie à l’éducation chrétienne des enfants pauvres. Le lien entre cet acte d’association et l’intérêt croissant pour l’association dans l’Institut aujourd’hui peut être mis en évidence. So they went out, got into the boat, but that night they caught nothing. When it was already dawn, Jesus, was standing on the shore; but the disciples did not recognize Him. John 21: 3-6 Association has existed since the origins of the Brothers of the Christian Schools, but has developed in an altogether unprecedented way during the past forty years. The foundation event which links the Institute today to its origins is that of June 6th 1694, when John Baptist de La Salle and twelve of his followers came together to consecrate themselves for life, to the Christian education of poor boys.
